Council identified the safety problems at this exact intersection back in 2019. What the right fix looks like is a question for BCC's traffic engineers — we're not prescribing the design. The realistic path to getting them onto it, funded, is a Black Spot Program application — state/federal money for assessing and fixing known dangerous intersections.
Our local councillor, Cr Trina Massey, has already asked Council's Infrastructure Chair, Cr Ryan Murphy, and our federal MP, Renee Coffey, to support and submit it. Neither has yet confirmed they will. That's where you come in.
